Welcome to DVD Korner, where we tackle the best and worst in recent releases, in many cases without even watching the DVD in question! Today we discuss:

The rabid Islander fan base once again shows that, even with the team in the basement, they are the league leaders in apathy. So we reviewed it for them! Just like the Leafs will do all this losing and blowing leads to the Panthers and running good players out of town, and the Islanders will get Tavares anyways. He will arrive just in time to help load the moving vans for Kansas City, where he will score 145 points in front of 145 people. Bitter? Wrong blog, Charlie!

Godd Till: I tried to order this collection, but when I opened the case I got a note saying Mike Milbury had traded the discs for half a carton of chocolate milk and three menthol cigarettes. Then I got an email from Garth Snow saying they could send me the discs, but only if I took out a 15-year, $950.00 membership in the "Isles AV Club".
Kim Jorn: I wanted to know if I could get it in Beta, just to make it an authentic experience.
Saucy! Dick RiPietro could not be reached for comment.

Guess what? There's only one game from this century in that collection, and of course it is the Bates penalty shot winner against the Leafs from the 2002 playoffs. Fucking figures...not only are the Leafs the only team to get hosed by Milbury in a trade, but they also manage to provide the one bright spot for Isles fans since 1993.
My name is Mike and I run www.NHLsnipers.com. Just curious if you would like to swap links.
Let me know in a quick comment on my site or email me: nhlsnipers at gmail.
If so, send me the link you want listed.
Thanks
Leave it to Leaf fans to jump at first chance without reading the facts...The set hasn't been released yet so of course there are no user reviews yet.
Besides, a Leaf set wouldn't have any games this Century either..The latest thing the leafs would have would also be 1993...or wait would that be the Kings..or maybe a best of the referees set?
That is sadly true, Mr. RiPietro. We have had as little to cheer for as you over these last couple decades.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind seeing this game on DVD:

The NHL needs to outlaw the color TEAL from all things NHL.
And Mike Milbury is TEAL.
or this one.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meFICJYORvA
Funny thing Dick...I chose a game where the Leafs smoked the Isles and Mats Sundin set two major milestones. If they ever do make a Leafs DVD, I would make a case for that game being included.
You, on the other hand, chose a game that the Isles lost.
Well lets be honest..It is kinda hard to find one where they win.
