So a no-doubt Hall of Famer returns to a town where he's dominated in the regular season, scored vital goals in playoff wins, been the best player on the ice for over a decade - and instead of the cheers he's always heard from the fans that fill the rink, he's greeted by boos? It's unbelievable how things can change.

Yeah, it sure must have been tough for Mats Sundin in Ottawa last night.

Having had the misfortune to have been in Ottawa late last week, I can report that the Ottawa Citizen devoted two full sports-section pages (and a teaser on the front page) to the theme of "The Senators can still make the playoffs".

They grow up, and become horribly deluded, so fast.
